This album cover design takes inspiration from pH-1’s debut album, The Island Kid, with a concept centered on water and islands to symbolize personal exploration and growth. These elements reflect his connection to his roots and the journey that shaped his artistry.
Motifs of ripples and islands appear on both covers, representing the spread of influence and connection. The gradual expansion mirrors how his music resonates, capturing the essence of his evolution and the story behind the original album.
This project expands beyond the album design to incorporate pH-1’s clothing brand, Ego Fetch, emphasizing the connection between his music and personal ventures. By designing new apparel using the brand’s existing logo, the aim is to extend the minimalist and black aesthetic of The Island Kid project into the realm of fashion.
The addition of Ego Fetch reflects pH-1’s multifaceted identity as both a musician and entrepreneur. A promotional poster complements the clothing design, reinforcing the brand’s connection to the album’s themes of growth, exploration, and connection. Together, these components create a cohesive visual narrative that bridges his artistic and business endeavors.
